- 1. Prevention and treatment of vitamin D deficiency in the elderly and adolescents. 2. Treatment of vitamin D deficiency in adults.
- Dosage and Administration
- Use according to your doctor's prescription, but the dosage should be adjusted according to the amount of 25-hydroxy vitamin D in your blood. Treatment effects and drug resistance should be considered within 3 months for adults and 6 months for adolescents after the medicine is administered, and re-administration can be considered based on this. The adverse reactions increase with overdose, so do not administer more than necessary. - Adult: Administer 200,000 I.U intramuscularly as cholecalciferol. - Adolescents: Administer 200,000 I.U intramuscularly as cholecalciferol. - The elderly: Administer 200,000 I.U intramuscularly as cholecalciferol. The annual dose should not exceed 600,000 I.U as cholecalciferol.
