Our VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Laser and Intense Pulse Light (IPL), is the perfect course for the inspiring laser and IPL technicians.
This essential course will allow you to work in any borough and obtain the correct licenses to work legally. The student will gain the understanding of light tissue interaction and an overview of IPL and Laser technology. Our experienced laser technician tutor will be able to guide you throughout your qualification with tips and secrets to get the best results for your clients.
The student will develop an understanding of managing safe working practices, controlling hazards , and
techniques using the advanced IPL for the treatment of vascular lesions, toning, pigment removal, red
vein removal, acne and general skin rejuvenation. You will gain core knowledge of electromagnetic
spectrum, light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation (laser) and intense pulsed light (IPL).

Progression: Following this training you can progress onto any other of our Level 4 Micropigmentation,
Foundation Dermal Filler, Foundation Anti Wrinkle.
We do recommend that you contact your local council, to find out what their requirements are, as every council is different. Most local councils in the borough of London will require you to have a Level 4 qualification.
They will also be able to advise you as to what they require for you to obtain your laser licence, what their local by-laws are and recommend a local LPA (Laser Protection Advisor). So this will be your starting point before you book your course, so we can best advise you.
More councils and local authorities are tightening up their requirements for their registration, and so it is a good time to start thinking about Level 4 – even if your council is fairly lenient at this stage.
